Minister for Natural Resources S. Regupathy on Sunday claimed there was no dissatisfaction among the general public against the DMK government’s rule. The DMK government had not given any scope for dissatisfaction among women in the State which could be seen at the ground level, Mr. Regupathy said.
About protection to IAS officer U. Sagayam, he said the State government would do the needful. The Special Court handling the cases of Offences under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation Act) in Madurai recently directed Mr. Sagayam to appear through video conference from the City Civil Court in Chennai for a hearing in the granite scam cases in Madurai district after he expressed his inability to appear before the court.
