The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert for 21 districts across Telangana on Thursday. According to an official weather bulletin, isolated places in these districts are likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds.

The alert covers the districts of Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal.

In Hyderabad, the weather for the next 48 hours is expected to remain partly cloudy, with a forecast of light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds. Daytime temperatures are likely to reach a maximum of 39°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 26°C.
